The following is our promise to you when you register for this conference. If you feel we are not living up to this promise please contact us at registration@verney.ca. or alternatively you can contact the Privacy Commissioner, and/or regional Information and Privacy Commissioner.

Privacy Policy

Information Collected: We only request personally identifiable information, in order to provide that service or product to you. At time of registration, information that we gather includes:

Organization
Title
Address
Telephone number
Email Address (required)
Special Requirements (food allergies and/or accessibility needs)
Financial information required to fulfill the associated

Upon registration of an event, we allow delegates the option of not including their email addresses as part of the participant list provided to event attendees. In this case, only VCM Inc. will have access to the delegates' email addresses.

Purpose of the Collected Information: VCM Inc. uses your information to better understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, to communicate back with you, and to update you on service and benefits.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research or to provide you with marketing information we think would be of particular interest. At a minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such direct marketing or market research contact. We may also use that information to let you know of additional products and services about which you might be interested. You can choose not to receive such information by e-mailing registration@verney.ca.

Agenda Alterations, Postponements, And Speaker Substitutions

Please note that speakers and topics were confirmed at time of publishing, however, circumstances beyond the control of event organizers may require substitutions, alterations, or cancellations of speakers and/or topics. Therefore, event organizers reserve the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers, topics, and/or agenda if necessary.

If event organizers are required to postpone the event, a credit note will issued and considered as a registration for the rescheduled event and will be subject to the standard policies previously outlined.

If event organizers are required to cancel an event, a full refund will be issued or you may choose to be issued a credit note for a future event to be used within one year of issuance.

Event organizers shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is canceled, rescheduled, or postponed due to fortuitous event, "Act of God", unforeseen occurrence, or any other event that renders the performance of this conference impractical or impossible. Event organizers reserve the right to make changes to speakers, and programs and/or cancel programs if enrollment criteria are not met or when conditions out of its control prevail. Every effort will be made to contact each participant if a program is canceled or postponed. If a program is canceled or postponed, event organizers liability shall be limited to conference registration fees only.

Acceptable Use Of Participant List

Purpose of List: The attendee list provided to participants is intended to assist in post-conference, "one on one" networking only.

Conditions of Use:

1) Attendees are defined as any and all participants, including: delegates, speakers, sponsors, vendors, registered consultants, community partners, etc...

2) Your response to this question is not related to, nor affects in any way, your consent to the terms and conditions required to complete a registration for this event.

3) Mass, bulk, or generic emailing to this list is NOT permitted.

4) Any reports of such usage will be reported as SPAM to the appropriate authorities as described in Canada's Anti Spam Legislation
